Francesco Curcio - Chairman and CSO

Co-founder of VivaBioCell, is Professor of Molecular Pathology, has been in the field of tissue engineering for almost 30 years, both in Academic Institutions such as Italian Universities, National Institutes of Health, European Molecular Biology Laboratory and in the Biotechnology Industry, such as VivoRx inc., Human Cell Therapies Inc. and now VivaBioCell SpA in Italy, Germany and USA where he played key roles in all aspects of tissue engineering from basic research to clinical trials. Over the years Francesco's efforts in the tissue engineering medical area has lead to the generation of several new applications. His technical knowledge base remains a critical asset to the organization. Francesco holds a Medical Doctor degree and Clinical Biology Specialty degree from Napoli University ”Federico II”.

Leonardo Zangrando - COO

He developed projects for several global companies as project manager and as consultant, working on sales structure optimisation, product portfolio optimisation, business development, salesforce effectiveness. In the industrial sector, he managed large acquisition and restructuring programs with responsibility on €40M+ investments.

Italo Figura - Marketing Director

Executive Director at COSMO-TEC, a consulting company for strategic marketing and R&D strategies in diagnostics. Former CEO in Alphagenics Diaco (R&D and production of diagnostic tests in molecular biology) and Head of Marketing and Sales in primary diagnostics companies (CAM Diagnostics, Medgenix, Amersham).

Ornella Gonzato - QA/Regulatory

Regulatory consultant for several companies. Contract professor of Quality Management Systems, Quality Assurance, GMP and Process Control at the University of Udine. 10 years experience in Accreditation Health Systems. Former responsible for Clinical Laboratory Accreditation Programs at National Scientific Society.

Roberto della Marina - Board Member
Head of Investments AlAdInn Venture Fund. Former General Manager of CBM Scrl, FVG District of Molecular Biomedicine. He was Technology Innovation Director and Business Development VP of Olivetti I-Jet Spa, Ivrea, Italy  after 10 years in high tech companies and research centers in Geneva and Neuchatel, Switzerland. Holds a PhD in Physics from ETH Zürich, Switzerland.
